If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization or business entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms. In such case, "you" and "User" refers to that organization.
You must be at least 13 years of age (or 16 in the European Union) to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

3. Service Description
3.1 What is DOUGH.ID
DOUGH.ID is a real-time API proxy gateway that provides unified access to multiple AI models from different upstream providers. We do NOT host, train, or run AI models ourselves. Our Service acts as an intermediary: receiving your API requests in OpenAI-compatible format, validating authentication, enforcing rate limits, forwarding to the appropriate upstream provider, and returning their response to you.
3.2 Key Features
- Single API endpoint (
/api/v1/chat/completions) for 10+ AI models - OpenAI-compatible format — switch models by changing the
modelparameter - Free tier with generous daily token limits
- No credit card required to sign up
- API key management via web Dashboard
- Support for multiple API keys per account (development, staging, production)
3.3 Availability
We strive to provide the Service 24/7, but we do NOT guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Service may experience downtime for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. See Section 17 — Force Majeure.
4. Eligibility & Account Registration
4.1 Eligibility Requirements
To create a DOUGH.ID account, you must:
- Be at least 13 years old (16 in the EU)
- Have a valid, accessible email address
- Provide accurate, complete, and current registration information
- Not be currently suspended or banned from the Service
- Not be located in a country or region subject to sanctions by Indonesia, the UN, US, or EU
4.2 Account Security
You are solely responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials (email, password, OAuth tokens)
- All activities that occur under your account, whether authorized or not
- Promptly notifying us of any unauthorized use at [email protected]
- Using a strong, unique password (minimum 8 characters, mixed letters/numbers/symbols)
4.3 One Account Per Person
Each individual may only maintain one free account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent rate limits or for other abusive purposes is strictly prohibited and will result in termination of all associated accounts.
5. API Keys & Authentication
5.1 API Key Creation
API keys are created through your DOUGH.ID Dashboard. Each key has the following characteristics:
- Format:
sk-followed by 29 alphanumeric characters (32 characters total) - Keys are shown ONLY once — at creation time. Store securely.
- Keys are hashed (one-way) before storage. We CANNOT recover lost keys.
- You may create up to 10 API keys per account for different environments.
5.2 API Key Usage
Use the API key in the Authorization: Bearer YOUR_KEY header on every API request. Invalid or revoked keys will receive a 401 Unauthorized response.
5.3 Revocation & Rotation
You may revoke any API key at any time from the Dashboard. Once revoked, the key immediately ceases to function. We recommend rotating keys periodically (every 90 days) and immediately revoking keys suspected of compromise.
6. Plans & Rate Limits
6.1 Free Tier
The DOUGH.ID Free Tier provides API access with daily token limits. Specific limits are displayed in your Dashboard and may change from time to time based on capacity and demand. The Free Tier is intended for prototyping, learning, personal projects, and light non-commercial use.
6.2 Paid Plans
Paid plans (Pro, Max) offer higher token limits, priority access, and additional features. Paid plan details are available on the Dashboard Plan page. All paid plans are subject to payment terms in Section 11.
6.3 Rate Limit Enforcement
We enforce rate limits at the per-API-key and per-account level. Requests exceeding limits will receive a 429 Too Many Requests response. We reserve the right to adjust limits, apply throttling, or block traffic showing unreasonable usage patterns.
